Board rules

These rules are disclosed to clarify the various responsibilities of all community members here on ATARA Forum. They shall be adhered to by everyone to ensure that our board runs smoothly and provides a fun and productive experience for all of our community members and visitors.

  1. Code of Conduct

    1. Atara's mission is to empower every member to achieve more. We seek to create a respectful, friendly, enjoyable, and inclusive experience for all Atara members. We expect all event participants to uphold the principles of this Code of Conduct. The Code of Conduct applies to all members of the forum. Atara does not tolerate the following in any aspect of the forum, including social activities: Behavior that is disruptive, disrespectful, or degrading to others, including any messages, images, or interactions by anyone, in any form, regardless of location.​
      Harassment or discrimination based on age, ancestry, color, gender identity or expression, national origin, physical or mental disability, religion, sexual orientation, or any other characteristic protected by applicable local laws, regulations, and ordinances.​ ​We encourage everyone to assist in creating a welcoming and safe environment. Please report any concerns, harassing behavior, or suspicious or disruptive activity to the Web Master. We also encourage everyone to contact the Web Master if you feel anything or anyone is not following this Code of Conduct or is inconsistent with our culture. The Web Master can be emailed or reached at webmaster@atara-w8atr.fun. The Atara Web Master reserves the right to refuse admittance to or remove any person from the forum at any time at his/her sole discretion. #
  2. Forum Rules

    1. No Spam / No Advertising / No Self-promote in the forums

      These forums define spam as unsolicited advertisement for goods, services and/or other web sites, or posts with little, or completely unrelated content.
      Do not spam the forums with links to your site or product, or try to self-promote your website, business or forums etc.
      DO NOT ASK for email addresses or phone numbers inside the ATARA forum. #
    2. Do not post copyright-infringing material

      Providing or asking for information on how to illegally obtain copyrighted materials is forbidden. #
    3. Do not post “offensive” posts, links or images

      Any material which constitutes defamation, harassment, or abuse is strictly prohibited. Material that is sexually or otherwise obscene, racist, or otherwise overly discriminatory is not permitted on these forums. This includes user pictures. Use common sense while posting. #
    4. Do not cross post questions

      Please refrain from posting the same question in several forums. There is normally one forum which is most suitable in which to post your question. #
    5. Remain respectful of other members at all times

      All posts should be professional and courteous. You have every right to disagree with your fellow community members and explain your perspective. However, you are NOT free to attack, degrade, insult, or otherwise belittle them or the quality of this community. It does not matter what title or power you hold in the ATARA organization or this forum, you are expected to obey these rules. #
    6. Common sense applies, and any questionable comments or actions will be considered misconduct and will not be tolerated.

      Ultimately, not following the rules outlined above or not following the rules that are implied by the nature of these forum rules may result in the removal or disabling of your forum account, and may also include the deletion of your forum posts. #
